share your experience in a Public Group Class, or if you have a few friends or family interested we offer Private Group Classes with your own instructor. Salty Surf School also provides a Single Private Class for those looking to refine their skills and further their surfing ability.

Meet our surf instructor Bella! 🙌🏻🏄🏻‍♂️

Bella’s been surfing around Western Port Bay since she was 4 years old and still loves every second of it.

For her, surfing’s always been about getting in the water with friends, having a laugh, and enjoying the good days out there.

We asked our campers what their favourite part of Surf Camp was… and let’s just say, picking just one wasn’t easy 🏄🏻‍♂️.

From learning to surf for the very first time to building confidence in the water, our camps are designed to help kids grow, try new things, and have a whole lot of fun along the way, all with the support of experienced instructors 🤙🏻.

Here’s what a beginner surf lesson actually looks like at Salty Surf School 👇

We start with a quick surf brief at the beach: we explain to you where to position yourself, how to pop up, what to do after you surf a wave, and why you’re surfing at the spot you´re surfing.

Then we take it into the water and put everything into practice.

Starting something new can feel scary, that’s why our surf instructors are with you every step, helping you build confidence and get to what you’re passionate about: surfing 🌊🤙
