More good news, after having so much fun playing Pickleball today (Saturday), and now that the other Sunday booking has cancelled the court hire, we have hired the courts again and everyone wants to play tomorrow (Sunday 12/4/2026) at our normal time of 3-5pm. All welcome. 🌕

It is with some sadness that we announce that we are unable to play Pickleball this Sunday as the hall is booked for something else.

It is with some happiness and joy that we announce that we have rescheduled to this Saturday 11th April at an earlier time of 2-4pm.

I know Sundays 3-5pm interrupts some drinking time, so does 2-4pm suit better? Open to anyone who wants to have a fun hit.

Our first Pickleball 🎾 Mini Competition
We're running a one-off mini competition.
📅When Tuesday 24th March
⏰️ Starts 6pm (6 -8pm)

It's all about a bit of fun and variety, and everyone is welcome.

A few key points:

Numbers will be limited to 18 players

You'll need to register on Pickleheads to play (we can help you set this up on the night if needed)

We'll record scores and upload them to DUPR, so you'll need a DUPR account for this competition.

We currently have Social Tennis on Monday 6pm to 8pm Only. Please feel free to turn up and play.
We would like to offer additional days / times of day if there is a call for it.
When would you like to play?

We are asking our community how best to keep tennis a strong enjoyable sport in Sussex Inlet.
We have 5 fantastic tennis courts at Thomson Street Complex.

Life Membership for Karen Rigby

Sussex Inlet Tennis Club recently had the pleasure of awarding Life Membership to Karen Rigby in recognition of her incredible contribution to the club over 20 years.

Karen has been a huge part of the club, always willing to help wherever needed. From organising events and supporting players to helping behind the scenes, she has given countless hours of her time to make the club such a welcoming and friendly place.

Her energy, enthusiasm, and genuine love for tennis and the club have made a real difference. Many members have benefited from her encouragement, support, and friendly smile, and her efforts have not gone unnoticed.

Congratulations, Karen, on this well-deserved honour. Life Membership is a wonderful way to say thank you for everything you have done for Sussex Inlet Tennis Club.
