We run Muaythai classes for:

* Teens Monday & Wednesday 4:45-5:45pm

* Juniors Tuesday & Thursday 5:00-5:45pm

* Seniors - Monday to Friday 6:00-7:30pm

All sessions must be pre-booked, please contact us before coming in. No walk-ins available.

* Private Muaythai sessions available

🥊 INTERCLUB UPDATE – SATURDAY 12TH SEPTEMBER

Unfortunately, due to low numbers and not enough suitable matches, we’ve made the decision to cancel our Interclub Sparring Day.

Rather than cancel the day altogether, GV Muaythai will still be open from 10:00am for regular sparring.

Anyone from other gyms who still wants to come down is more than welcome. No matching, no entry fee and no formal interclub format — just a good, friendly sparring session with different people and different styles.

We’ll kick off at 10:00am and keep going until everyone has had enough! 😂

Thanks to the gyms and competitors who put their names forward. We appreciate the support and we’ll look at running another interclub when we can put together a bigger card.

INTER-CLUB MUAYTHAI SPARRING DAY 🥊

Saturday September 12th, we’re opening the gym for another technical inter-club sparring day focused on learning, development, and good rounds with good people.

This day is designed especially for beginners and less experienced fighters to get comfortable sparring in a safe, controlled environment — but all gyms and levels are welcome.

Our regular Muay Thai classes aren’t changing. They remain the foundation of what we do and are perfect for anyone wanting to learn Muay Thai, improve fitness, develop skills and enjoy the sport.

But for those who want the ultimate challenge, who want to push themselves further, or who are thinking about stepping into the ring, we’re now accepting expressions of interest for our fight team.

Fight Team training is coached by Mat Reid – former professional Muay Thai fighter and trainer of multiple State & National Champions.

This isn’t just another training session. It’s a structured program designed to develop the fitness, discipline, technique and mindset required to compete.

Every session follows the same format:

🔴 5:30pm – Mandatory 30-minute run

🔴 6:00pm – Drills, bagwork, shadow boxing & padwork

🔴 6:30pm onwards – Sparring & clinching

No run. No training. No exceptions.

Running builds your engine. Drills develop precision. Padwork sharpens your weapons. Sparring and clinching teach timing, composure, resilience and fight IQ.

Whether your goal is your first fight, to become a better martial artist, or to pursue championship success, you’ll be surrounded by like-minded people who are prepared to work hard and hold each other to a high standard.

Going through some older photos of our fighters and had a play with AI

We have had some very dedicated and talented fighters to come from this gym. Very proud of all of them, they all trained so hard, and the ultimate payoff being a title holder. Not only did they win a title, but they all successfully defended their titles, proving why they were at the top of their weight categories at the time.

We had a bit of a break with fighter, but the last couple of years we have been building it up again. Who might our next champion be?
