Shepparton / Youth Club United Cricket Club Join the fun and excitement cricket has to offer at SYCUCC The Greater Shepparton area has a population of around 60,000 residents and is expanding daily.

We welcome new players for either Senior men's, Senior women's and Junior cricket. The Shepparton / Youth Club United Cricket Club was formed in 2003 from the merger of Shepparton CC and Shepparton Youth Club CC. We currently field 4 sen

ior and 3 junior teams affiliated with Cricket Shepparton along with 1 Ladies team and support an All Abilities Program. The township of Shepparton is located in the heart of Victoria and is known as the “Food Bowl” of Australia with a large fruit growing and Dairy Industry. Our main home ground called Riordan Oval which is a part of the Princess Park sporting area located just a 5 minute walk to the Shepparton CBD and is surrounded by bush land and the Goulburn River. There are two grounds at this location, one being turf and the other a hard wicket. Our new training facilities are also located at the Princess Park precinct. Our senior men's teams compete across Cricket Shepparton's A to E grades with junior teams competing in Under 16,14,12 & 10 grades. We also run a Woolworths Blast program for children aged 5-9. Our senior ladies team competes in the Goulburn Murray cricket competition. It is one of our clubs highest priorities to continue to develop our young cricketers and eventually guide them into senior teams. We continue to foster a friendly social atmosphere off the ground and always try to be inclusive of our junior players and their families. Our club also aims to contribute to our community through means other than cricket and has a good working relationship with Local Council and have teamed up with Connect GV to deliver All Abilities cricket from October 2015 onwards. Between both clubs we can boast 23 "A" Grade Premierships as well as a host of other senior and junior premierships. Our clubs have produced 10 Life Members of the Shepparton Cricket Association and 2 Legend Award recipients. Our ultimate aim is to return to these successful days and we are continually working towards these goals through our development programs and following our club vision and goals. Any past or new players to the area are most welcome to join our fantastic club and look forward to seeing you at training.
