Oh dear. My pony paddocks were barren, and now the rain has turned them to slippery muddy areas. Just as well the ponies have 4 legs, as I found it hard to walk there properly

Nhia Crosbie and I did a lovely, friendly, pony party on Saturday. It became hot, so the children only had a few rides, then the ponies were allowed to relax in the shade. We finished without saddles, and both Freckles and Johnny were happy with that.

Nhia and I did the most relaxing pony party yesterday, for Donna's family in kialla. The children only had a few rides, then we were allowed to let the ponies relax in the shade, while they and we given food and drinks. I could have taken a unicorn instead of 2 riding ponies. Maybe another time
Later, we did the last few rides without saddles.

How I wish I had the old crew from Berwick with me again. I am scratching around to find helpers for pony rides each day over Easter.

Hello to all of my friends from pams ponies in Berwick, all those years ago . My news is sad, as Brad is extremely unwell in a Darwin hospital, and might not go home again. Like him or not, he sure was a character. I'll always remember him offering parents a cup of tea , although he looked scary with no teeth and lot of tatoos.

Another sweet girl 4yold Kia, AKA poppy, came early yesterday. This was her first try on Polly, after only being on the lead rope on my minis. With her dad's and my instructions, she enjoyed her ride.

Although it's very hot, a pupil from Murchison has come to ride again. It was nice to see Charlotte on naughty feckles again. If that is version of naughty , he is quite good.
