Ashayne Fitness,๐Ÿƒโ€โ™‚๏ธwhy its important and how to Return to Gym Based Workouts safely and Effectively๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ

With the announcement that gyms will be opening๐Ÿคธโ€โ™‚๏ธ in the next couple of weeks , I am sure everyone is excited to get back into their favorite gym-based routines. Even though most people have been great and staying consistent with outdoor training,and home base workouts, ๐Ÿ‘itโ€™s important not too go too hard and expect to be able to do the same intensity workouts you were doing pre quarantine.

Itโ€™s important to be aware that strength levels๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ will have dropped in this time. Outdoor training ๐Ÿšตโ€โ™‚๏ธis great, especially for conditioning and fitness but not ideal to maximize๐Ÿ’ช strength. Give yourself 2-4 weeks to get back to previous weights you were doing, especially in compound lifts like squats and deadlifts.๐Ÿ‹๏ธโ€โ™‚๏ธ

If you go too hard too early you risk excessive soreness ๐Ÿ˜กand also injury so just take it slow and ease back into your gym workouts with a moderate approach, knowing you should be back to full capacity in few weeks.
