🤝 A NEW CHAPTER: Handing Over the Reins! 🏏

Today marks a significant moment for the Seymour Cricket Club as we officially announce a change in leadership for our senior team.
After a fantastic tenure leading the Maroons, Braidon is handing over the captaincy to Brett Gordon.

We want to extend a massive thank you to Braidon for his incredible leadership, dedication, and the passion he brought to the role. His commitment to the club has been second to none, and we are grateful for everything he has achieved at the helm. 👏
As we look toward the 2026/27 season, we are thrilled to welcome Brett Gordon as our new captain! Brett is a respected figure within the club, and we have full confidence in his ability to lead the Maroons into this next exciting chapter. 🏆

What a phenomenal season for one of our brightest young talents! Braxton’s performance in the Under 13s was nothing short of elite, capped off by winning the prestigious Sam Watts Medal. 🏅

Seymour Cricket Club is seeking a passionate and committed Senior Coach to lead our playing group into the 2026/27 season.

We’re a proud, community-driven club on the rise — with 4 out of 5 sides making finals last season, there’s strong momentum and a great foundation to build on.

This role is about more than match day. We’re looking for someone who can:
• Lead and develop our senior playing group
• Foster a strong, inclusive and positive club culture
• Support the growth of our junior pathway into senior cricket
• Bring energy, leadership and clear direction both on and off the field
