Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) - BJJ is a non-striking submission martial art which takes place on the ground. The art of BJJ is position, posture and control. Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) - MMA stand for Mixed Martial Arts. This means the application of any or all martial arts. MMA is particularly good for self defence as it incorporates training in real-life scenarios one might encounter. Boxing - Boxing is a stand-up style of combat that requires striking from a distance and from a clinch. Very good for self defence and fitness. Muay Thai - Muay Thai is a stand up style of fighting which utilises striking in the form of punching, elbowing, kicking and kneeing. Muay Thai iis composed of distance striking as well as clinching up where strong, effective blows can be dealt. Wrestling - Wrestling is a non-striking sport which is largely about domination by manipulating yours and your opponent’s body weight via clinches and takedowns. Fitness (strength and conditioning) - Fitness classes help individuals achieve their health goals. It allows you to get fit, lose weight, gain strength and feel more confident in a group atmosphere. There are a variety of modes of contact in which we can organise a free trial with us. You can facebook message, email, call or sms the number provided or simply come down to the gym and talk to one of our friendly staff about getting your free trial. Our free trial includes 3 free visits in which you can participate in any 3 classes of your choice for free. This can be the same class 3 times or 3 different styles of classes, the choice is yours.
