Today was Ladies 1st Round of Foursomes Championships. A big Thankyou to Tricia Borgward for sponsoring the day. It was lovely to have her with us at the club.

At last the demolition of the old clubhouse has commenced. The site is fully fenced and is "out-of-bonds" to all members and public. Please be careful moving around the carpark & temporary clubhouse and be mindful of construction vehicles. We look forward to the progress of the construction of our new clubhouse over the coming months. The Club is very appreciative of the funding support we are receiving from the SJ Shire, the WA government and Alcoa.

The fence on 18 is down, now you might say the wind was to blame. If that is so explain to me how a wind coming West, North West has managed to blow the fence, which is almost due west, over on a southerly direction past 90 degrees.
I think it had some mechanical help. It came down Saturday night before the main part of the storm front even got to us. The picture with the gator in it shows how much the tube was bent. The upright protion is 1.2m long and was still securely in the ground.
