The Port Adelaide name has long been associated with success in the football world, both in South Australia and on the national stage. The Port Adelaide Women’s Football Club, competing in the South Australian Women’s Football League is no exception. Since it’s inception in 2003, from humble beginnings, this club has represented the ethos that is Port Adelaide, and whist we are yet to claim the ultimate prize, our players understand the responsibility of wearing the Port Adelaide name. We aim to be role models for female sport with our endeavour on the field and leaders off the field.

A mixed bag for the Girls on the Sunday. The Div 5 side continued their strong start to the season with an 8.7-55 to 2.4-16 win away at Golden Grove.

The Div 2's fell short up at Mount Barker going down 7.12-54 to 3.6-24. A good performance against a Div 2 finals side from last year.

Both Teams will be at home this Saturday night ... Div 5's playing Payneham NU from 4:45pm and the Div 2's Playing Greenacres at 6:30pm. Bar and kitchen will be open. Come down and have a look.

Big congratulations to Tanasha Wood who played her 50th game on Sunday just gone. Thankyou to the Port Adelaide Cheer Squad for the banner. Your ongoing support of the girls is much appreciated!!!
