Seaforth Cat Barrellers' Associaton Cat Barrelling Innovations Modern Barrelling has (usually) two teams of 11 cats of mixed abilities pitched against each other in two 45 minute sets.

The Ancient Sport Of Cat Barrelling, can be traced back to Scandinavia, and is an all year round sport that can be participated in by young and old. Tea and Oranges that come all the way from.China are most often given to the cats at half time..by way of refreshments. Kick.off is traditionally 3 pm Saturday afternoon and is is said to be a non-contact sport. There are variations, such as Gaelic Barrelling and Australian Rules Barrelling, but these are covered in depth elsewhere....
