👏 Pixellot NBL1 South Local Legend – Sophie Alexander (Frankston Blues)

A proud product of the Frankston Blues pathway, Sophie Alexander has progressed through the association’s representative program before taking the next step in her basketball journey at the collegiate level in the United States.

Alongside her playing career, Sophie continues to give back to the Blues community as Assistant Coach of the Under 16.1 Girls, who recently competed at the National Junior Classic. She is passionate about helping young athletes develop their skills and confidence, while sharing the knowledge and experience she has gained throughout her own basketball journey.

A valued member of the Frankston Blues community and a deserving Local Legend.

🏀 Big congratulations to our Frankston officials selected for the 2026 National Junior Classic!

The National Junior Classic is one of Australia’s premier junior tournaments, and selection is a fantastic recognition of the hard work shown by officials throughout the year 👏

Officials representing us at the Classic this weekend:

An outstanding achievement by all four officials and a terrific reflection of the strength of our officiating program.

Paul has always been the person who shows up for others.

For years, he has put his hand up to help others, supported those around him, and given so much of himself to the Frankston Basketball community.

As an FDBA Life Member, Paul has been a constant presence for our Blues teams, a kind face in our grassroots programs, and someone who has made a lasting impact across every level of Frankston Basketball.

What began as an infected toe has quickly become serious, and he will undergo surgery to remove part of his leg.

Any contribution, message of support, or act of kindness will go a long way.
