⭐️Celebrating 10 years of Dorset Flex ⭐️

Dorset Flex is proudly the training ground for athletes across many different sports; football, netball, runners... but the one catching everyone's attention at the moment is HYROX.

HYROX is a fitness competition that combines running with functional exercises (see the format in the pic). It tests strength and endurance, both physically and mentally!

This weekend, 4 Dorset Flex members took on the Brisbane HYROX competition, coming away with personal bests, massive jumps in placing, all while overcoming unexpected race day challenges.

We are super proud of your efforts, and it is an honour to have you train in our space!! 💪🎉🙌

⭐️Celebrating 10 years of Dorset Flex⭐️

This April Dorset Flex is celebrating our 10 year Anniversary..... can you believe it?!?!?

To celebrate there will be 10 posts across the month to reflect and celebrate all that Dorset Flex has become..... watch out there may even be a few sneaky give-aways and offers thrown in.

To start, we go back to the very beginning, these two blokes, Heath and Thommo having a beer at our good friends Little Rivers Brewing Co. Saying how good it would be if Scottsdale had a Gym.

A community survey, a whole lot of research, days on the paintbrush and a near all nighter before opening day and Dorset Flex was born.

We are honoured to have been selected as a finalist in the inaugural Dorset People and Business awards!

We are certainly proud of the contribution we have made to the health and well-being of so many in our Dorset region over the past decade. We have partnered with sporting clubs, RFDS and various other community groups and support agencies but behind it all has been the unwavering support of our members, Thank you!!!

Scottsdale Football Club Junior Talent Academy 2026

The Scottsdale Football Club Talent Academy is a brand-new initiative for 2026, designed to support the development of young footballers in a positive, inclusive and high-quality environment.
Running from January to March, the program is coordinated by Cabel Hall (Head of Development) and delivered by a range of coaches from our senior men’s and women’s teams, alongside specialist coaches from the north-east community.

With 25 athletes aged 12–16 already registered in the development program, the future of the club is looking incredibly bright ⭐

We’re excited to watch this group grow and develop across the season.
