A call-out to all ‘back to tennis’ men. Any gentlemen interested in giving tennis a go or making a gentle comeback, the Scotts Head Tennis Club is trialing an open session for men on Tuesday evening, 3 February, commencing at 7pm.
Cost is $3 for members, $5 for non-members.
Have no racquet, or your’s is embarrassingly neglected… no problem!! The club has spares you can borrow free of charge!

Our Annual General Meeting is scheduled to be held at the Scotts Head Tennis Clubhouse on Thursday, May 9th at 6pm.

All Executive and Committee Member positions will be declared vacant, and voting will occur to fill these positions.

You are urged to attend all meetings and have your say in how the future of the Club evolves. Only current members are able to vote, so ensure you have renewed your membership for 2024-2025.

Scotts Head Tennis Club is offering Kids Coaching Lessons for 6-10 year olds on Mondays & Tuesday from 3.30pm-4.15pm.

Thank you to the Macksville Ladies who had a lovely day of tennis at our courts today. The weather was kind, the tennis great and the picnic lunch was delicious!

The next general meeting will be held in the clubhouse on Thursday 3 August at 6pm. All members welcome. Agenda items include our licence agreement with NVCC and our 5 year plan moving forward.

On Saturday morning (today) members reported broken bottles on Court 2 and outside Court 1. We thank those members for keeping an eye on our courts and for cleaning the mess. The lock had been left open as well. We want everyone to enjoy our courts and ask that any players ensure the lock is engaged upon leaving and all rubbish is cleared away.

We would like to welcome Anita Borgnis to the role of Secretary, as voted in at our recent AGM. Returning officers are President: Roger Goddard; Vice President:John Schmidt and Treasurer: Karen Forbes. Our club continues to grow and we were successful is our application for a donation from the NVCC for $500. A supply of balls have been purchased . It’s been great to see the courts being used, especially making use of our lights. The booking system is working well, just remember to log in and cancel your booking when needed. Cheers!
