Uralla Seniors Tennis on the weekend 🎾

A great weekend of tennis, good people and plenty of Scone names among the winners!

Luke and Tom took out the cash in the American Doubles (although apparently winning was easier than getting them to pose for a photo) Tim and the ladies came home with wins too, and it seems just about everyone from Scone managed to pick up something… even a raffle prize without hitting a ball 😂

A big thank you to Uralla Tennis Club for such a well-run weekend and fantastic hospitality. Always a good one! 🎾

Congratulations to our 2026 winners! 🎾🏆

What a fantastic few days of tennis at our Scone Seniors Tournament. Congratulations to all of our winners and runners up on some brilliant tennis across the weekend.

A huge thank you also goes to the generous sponsors who contributed towards our prizes. Your support helps us make tournament weekends like this that little bit more special for our players.

Another sponsor shout out! 🎾 Brooks & Partners

A big thank you to Brooks & Partners, one of our Centre Court Partners, for once again getting behind Scone Tennis and supporting our Seniors Tournament.

It was also great to have Brooks & Partners Partner, Tim, swap the office for the court and join us for the tournament himself, as well as being there to be part of our prize presentations.

Having our sponsors there enjoying the weekend alongside our players makes their support even more special.

Keeping us fuelled on and off the court!

A big weekend of tennis takes plenty behind the scenes, and our Fuel the Fire and Thirst Serve Sponsors made sure everyone was well looked after.

A huge thank you to The Chop Shop - Muswellbrook, Denman & Scone for keeping the meat stocked all weekend, and to MacCallum Inglis Merchandise, Owemax Ag and SPB Enterprises Scone for everything else needed to keep the BBQ firing and the food coming.

Our Thirst Serve Sponsor, Scone Motor Inn, made sure there were plenty of cold drinks on hand to keep everyone refreshed between matches.

And of course, a big thank you to all our wonderful helpers who jumped on the tongs, worked away in the kitchen and kept things moving at the counter. It takes plenty of hands to feed a tournament!

The Kristan Renneberg Memorial Shield

This year’s Scone Seniors Tournament saw the first playing of the Kristan Renneberg Memorial Shield, a perpetual trophy created in memory of Kristan, who joined us on the courts at our tournament last year.

Kristan loved his tennis, and it feels very fitting that his name will now remain part of this tournament for years to come.♥️🎾

The shield will be contested each year in the Men’s Doubles, with our first winners proudly taking it home over the weekend.

A special way to remember a fellow tennis player and keep his love of the game alive at Scone.

What a weekend! 🎾 Our second annual Tennis NSW Seniors Tournament brought over 70 entries to Scone, with a full house of courts across three fantastic days.

A huge shout-out to our generous local sponsors, and to Wendy, Ellen and our small but mighty team for the incredible amount of work behind the scenes.

It was also a particularly special weekend, with the Kristan Renneberg Memorial Shield contested in his memory, he certainly turned on the sunshine for us! ☀️❤️🎾

It’s tournament weekend here at Scone Tennis!

🎾 Todd Woodbridge Cup in Scone!

Today we welcomed students from Scone Public School, Scone Grammar School and St Mary’s to the courts for the Todd Woodbridge Cup, alongside the team from Tennis NSW.

Unfortunately the rain had other ideas and brought the day to an earlier finish than we’d planned, but it certainly didn’t dampen the enthusiasm on court! It was still a fantastic morning of tennis and a great opportunity to have our local schools together enjoying the game.

A big thank you to all the students, teachers, helpers and SHTA committee who came along, and a special thank you to Olivia Thornton, CEO of Tennis NSW, for making the trip to Scone and joining us for the day. 🎾

From 21st-23rd August we’ll be welcoming players ages 30+ from across NSW for three great days of tennis, competition and country hospitality.

Men & Ladies American Doubles Event.
Enter as an individual and play in a pool of round robin sets.

Morning - Age Group Mixed Events
Afternoon- Age Group Men & Ladies Events
