🏉💙 UNDER 18s – ROUND 7 💙🏉

Friday night footy is back at home this week as our Under 18s boys take on Farrer in a highly anticipated rematch under the lights.

After a hard-fought battle the first time around, the boys will be looking to make the most of home-ground advantage and put in a strong performance in front of their supporters.

We all know there’s nothing quite like footy under Friday night lights, and with kick-off at 7:00pm, it’s the perfect way to start the weekend. Our Under 18s continue to represent the future of our club, with several players already making their mark across the senior grades.

Let’s get around these young blokes, make some noise from the sidelines, and show them our support!

After a well-earned long weekend break, we’re back into it for Round 8, with our sides split across the Hunter.

As we head into the second half of the season, this marks the second time these teams will face off, so expect some great contests with plenty on the line as sides look to build momentum.

This weekend all of our teams have a well-earned bye, giving players, volunteers, and supporters the chance to enjoy the long weekend.

🏉 ROUND 7 WRAP UP 🏉

Our Women’s side went down to Wanderers on the weekend, showing plenty of heart and determination in a big matchup 💪🏽

With a couple of injuries throughout the game, the girls were tested, but they dug deep, stuck together, and never gave up without a fight. The courage and resilience shown right until the final whistle is something the entire club can be proud of 🩵

One of the highlights of the day came from a great piece of teamwork, with our skipper Abbey firing a slick pass out to fullback Jess, who swung around the defence before popping the ball back inside for Abbey to cross for a well-deserved try🔥

A huge thank you to everyone who came down to Brumby Park and supported the girls. Your encouragement from the sidelines never goes unnoticed 🙏🏽

Now it's time for everyone to enjoy a well-earned long weekend before we reset, recover, and get ready to do it all again.

We'll be back in action on 13 June, and we're looking forward to seeing you all there!

Well… it’s that time of the week again where we start looking ahead to what’s in store for the weekend 👀

This week our Women’s side will be taking on Wanderers at No.2 Sportsground 💪🏽

⚠️ With weather still hanging around, there is a possibility the game could be moved to Brumby Park — so keep an eye on our socials and watch this space for updates.

Meanwhile, the men’s grades have the bye this week… lucky buggers 😅

But don’t worry — the footy rolls on, and the girls are getting ready for a big contest. 🏉

ROUND 6 WRAP 🏉🩵

Round 6 saw our teams travelling right around the Hunter for a big day of footy.

It was a tough day in the office overall, but there were still plenty of positives to take away — including First Grade bringing home the chocolates 👏🏽

Women’s
The girls went down to Maitland in a proper wet-weather battle. It was a tough, physical game, but the effort and determination never dropped right until the final whistle.

Second Grade
A tough outing against a strong East side, especially with plenty of new faces in the team. The boys stuck at it and finished the game strongly, showing plenty of grit and potential. East will certainly be a good challenge throughout the season.

First Grade
An evenly matched contest from start to finish, with the boys digging deep and coming away with the win 💪🏽

As always, thank you to everyone who travelled and supported the club over the weekend. Back to work this week as we reset and prepare for another big round ahead.
