🏆 BACK-TO-BACK PREMIERS! 🏆
What. A. Night. 💙🐴
Our First Grade boys have done it again — back-to-back Minor AND Major Premiers, defeating Nelson Bay 34–24 in an incredible Grand Final! 🏆
The boys went into Saturday night knowing exactly how they wanted to play, and when it mattered most, they delivered. The hard work that has gone in all season was on show — tough through the middle, composed under pressure and willing to back themselves when opportunities opened up.
There were some HUGE moments.
Henry Orton produced two massive defensive efforts on the wing. With Nelson Bay attacking from scrums close to our line and looking dangerous out wide, Henry shut the door — not once, but twice — taking his opposite winger into touch and stopping two genuine attacking opportunities. 💪🏽
Then came a cracking team try from Isaac Field! The forwards did the hard work through the middle, drawing Nelson Bay’s defence in before the ball found Darcy Moore at 10. Darcy fired a beautiful long ball out wide to Isaac, who finished it off in the corner. That’s Grand Final footy! 🔥
And when Nelson Bay were looking to build some late momentum, Caleb Taylor came up with another huge play. Working in from the centres, Caleb got involved at the breakdown and came away with a crucial steal — shutting down the attack and helping the Brumbies take control when it mattered most.
Caleb had a pretty handy night all round too… THREE TRIES in a Grand Final! 🎩🔥
Our Grand Final 3–2–1:

And another massive congratulations to Will Officer, who was awarded Man of the Match for an outstanding Grand Final performance. 👏🏽
From the opening whistle to the final one, the boys left everything out there.

To every supporter who made the trip to Newcastle, pulled on the blue, made some noise and backed our boys — thank you. What an atmosphere and what a way to finish an incredible season. 💙
But a premiership like this is never won by just the players who take the field on Grand Final night.
To our tireless committee and volunteers who put in countless hours behind the scenes — thank you. So much work happens away from the field to keep this club going, and none of this would be possible without the incredible people we have in our corner.
To our partners, families and loved ones at home who support the long days, late nights, training sessions and weekends taken up by rugby — thank you for continuing to back us. 🫶🏽
To our fellow players, our mates on the sidelines, mates who pulled on the jersey with us and everyone who simply keeps showing up, cheering us on and being there through the wins and the losses — this one is yours too.💪🏽
A rugby club is so much more than what happens on the field. It’s the players, families, volunteers, mates and supporters who make it what it is.
And we couldn’t be prouder to share this one with all of you. 💙🐴
