It was a great day for golf for the final round of the Ladies Championships on Thursday.
There are 2 new champions as Barb Hobbs had a 1 shot win over Lyn Banks,to be the Club Champion with scores of 82,84 and 87.
In Division 2 Cath Payne had a 4 shot win over Fiona Simson with scores of 92,100 and 101.
Division 3 saw Noreen Marshall have a fabulous finishing round to win by 4 shots over Narelle Rutter.
Noreen also won the Jean Byrnes Salver for best nett over the field,on a countback from Mary Brennan who won the Division 2 nett on a countback from Cath Payne.
June Jukes won Division 1 nett from Barb Hobbs by a single shot.
Well done to all the winners and to those who took part this in this year's event.

⛳ Scone Golf Club Weekly Wrap | June 11–13

Another big week of golf wrapped up at Scone, with strong numbers across the board and a Winter Cup finish that may have had a few conversations continuing well into the weekend.

Saturday’s 18 Hole Stableford / Winter Cup Round 2 attracted 47 players, with Jake Teague taking the daily honours after posting 37 points, ahead of Andy Thrift and Will Druitt on 34.

The bigger story though was the Winter Cup Final, where Sam Yabsley held on to claim the title with 72 points, narrowly edging out Jake Teague on 71.

Rumour has it Sam has been casually bringing that result up every chance he gets… because beating Jake Teague by one shot doesn’t happen every day and those bragging rights might last longer than winter itself.

In the Weekly Medley Stableford, Bruce Robinson produced the best score of the week with 40 points, finishing ahead of Joel Potts on 39.

Unfortunately the Ladies Foursomes Championship scheduled for Thursday was washed out after conditions left the greens unplayable, with a new date to be announced.

Another busy week in the books at Scone.
