Proud as punch of Dallas and Jerome, coaches of our Doonside Roos U15s and U16s boys teams. 🏆

What a year they’ve had! Keeping the boys in line, building a strong team culture and bringing together young men from all different walks of life.

They dedicated countless hours to training, game days and everything that happened behind the scenes. They taught the boys that footy is about more than winning—it’s about discipline, respect, commitment and always having your teammate’s back.

Watching these boys grow in confidence, strength and ability throughout the season has been incredible. Dallas and Jerome encouraged every player to work hard, believe in themselves and never give up when things got tough.

They didn’t just build better football players—they built friendships, brotherhood and a family that will carry these memories long after the final whistle.

Congratulations, Dallas and Jerome. We are incredibly proud of everything you achieved with these boys. The impact you’ve made goes well beyond the footy field. ❤️💛💚

🏆 2026 GRAND FINAL WINNERS — DOONSIDE 15’S 🏆

What a season. What a team. What a family. 🤍

From all of us, thank you, thank you, thank you.

To Dal, Julz, Nath, Shaun and the entire coaching staff—you went above and beyond for these boys. This can be a tough age group to coach, but you never gave up on them. You continued to guide them, support them and teach them how to play as one. You became the role models they respect and look up to, and we couldn’t be prouder of everything you achieved together.

Kim, you are the boss and the footy mum of this team! You loved these boys, pulled them into line when needed and always had their backs. Without you and the coaching staff, they wouldn’t have reached this incredible moment.

To our boys—you showed up every Saturday and played with purpose. Despite the challenges, both on and off the field, you stuck together, respected those guiding you and kept working for one another. Today’s result was thoroughly deserved.

This season became about so much more than football. We all truly “Got Busy Living.” During one of the hardest years imaginable, this team and its families surrounded one another with love and support.

We are blessed to be part of such a diverse and caring group of boys, parents, volunteers and supporters. Honouring Bren on the jersey made this season incredibly special, and seeing the boys win the Grand Final was the icing on the cake.

Thank you to every parent for trusting US and giving us the privilege of being part of your boys’ footy journey. Thank you to everyone who supported the team throughout the year and made every player, parent, coach and trainer feel welcome.

We love you all and couldn’t be prouder of our boys and coaching staff. This is a memory we will carry forever.

🏆 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR U16 BOYS! 🏆

Our U16 Boys are the 2026 U16 Division 2 Cup Grand Final winners!

They defeated a very strong minor premiership team that had been undefeated all season. Our boys entered today’s game as the underdogs and came away with exactly what they deserved!

From Coach Jerome:

“Well done, lads! This win was just the cherry on top. We won well before this week by creating something real among a group of young men from different areas and cultures.

You boys showed up week in and week out, building towards this moment.

Thank you to my coaching staff, and a massive thank you to my cousin Raenen for all the sacrifices you made for this group throughout the year.
