Welcome to 2026! It’ll be a great year for table tennis! We reopen on Thursday 10 January, while the floor at Scarborough Recreation Centre is being maintained. And yes, we still have free tryouts this year, so send us a message if you’d like to give it a go.

Wasn’t it great to have Yonis Yihang Xu, Alvin Jiang and new TTWA President Sean Shwe visit our Club last night? Yonis showed us how his game has reached such a high level with his seemingly simple, super consistent stroke play and a fantastic serve.
We had around thirty five members come to play or watch the demonstration game. Inspiring.

Yes, we are open on Easter Sunday from 9:30am to 12:30pm. Save your chocolate eggs for later. And members can put their name down for our mini tournament run over the next two Thursday nights. Let’s play table tennis

Are we open you ask? Yes, we are open on Sundays from 9:30am - 12.30pm and Thursdays from 7pm - 10pm with just two exceptions: we are closed on Sunday 25th 🎅 and Sunday 1 January 🥳.
Existing members can play until the end of January as we reset memberships for the New Year, visitors from other clubs can play for $10 and new players can do a free try out.

Thank you dear members for recognising my contribution and making me a life member at our AGM last night. The club means a lot to me, and as we head into our 50th year, I’m glad to say it’s as vibrant and inclusive as ever.

Say hello to our Club Champion Ade Reeves and runner up Otti Beerli. It was a tough final but Ade’s monster top spin overcame the trickery of Otti’s long pips. Congratulations to both players.
