Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club

Scarboro Surf Life Saving Club Scarboro SLSC was formed in 1928 and patrols one of the nation's most magnificent yet most dangerous beaches in Western Australia.

Scarboro SLSC is located on the Esplanade in Scarborough, within the City of Stirling. Scarborough Beach is located approximately 14kms from Perth CBD and is well served through high frequency public transport, both bus & train, making it easily accessible to the greater Perth metropolitan area. The beach is separated from West Coast Highway by the Esplanade running North-South and a series of parks, reserves, dune conservation areas as well as free parking for nearly 2,000 vehicles.

Congratulations Mark !

Congratulations to Mark Irwin Mayor AM who has been appointed a Member of the Order of Australia in the 2026 King’s Birthday Honours List.

Mayor Irwin received the honour for his service to local government, surf lifesaving and the community.

CEO Stev Rodic it was “deserved recognition for one of the most dedicated and effective leaders in the sector”.

The future of Scarboro SLSC is in very safe (and fast!) hands. 🤩
Our Pool Rescue Nippers had some fantastic results at the RLSSWA Junior Lifeguard State Titles! From the pool to the podium, these superstars competed in a massive range of events, walking away with ribbons and a heap of Age Champion medals. 🥇🏆
We are so proud of their effort, smiles, and team spirit. Big thanks to our amazing coaches and support crew! 🙌✨
