My running mentor, unofficial coach, inspiration, and friend Peter Armistead continues to amaze me. From the first day I witnessed one of his 7 hour treadmill training runs, to the first trail run he led me on where he taught me that 'races are won on the downhill', I am certain that there is plenty more greatness to come! One of my favourite Biomechanists explaining some tips for 'how to be less slouchy!'

Many thanks to Runner's World for having me when I was in NYC and putting together this video on body adjustments! These moves are not only for runners, but for everyone. A big takeaway here, I hope, is that we need to start looking to all the non-exercise hours to change how we move. Even if you're concerned with how your hour of training or exercise is going, that, to, depends on how you're moving all the other time. Also, I'm over the proper/improper thing. There's just different outcomes for different alignments. YOU get to choose your end goal and how you move.
