🔴🔵🔴🔵 Qld Short Course Day 4 🔵🔴🔵🔴

The final day of racing saw Xander and Amber jump into the pool. Amber had a great race in her 50m Back only slightly off her PB after a bout of illness, you should be proud of your effort.

Xander smashed out a 400 free where he dropped 10 seconds and earned his second bronze medal🥉 of the meet, huge congratulations 🎉. Then slashed 3.5 seconds of his 200IM time to finish off a very successful meet.

A great way to finish off the Short Course season as we look forward to the Long Course Season as the weather warms up 💪🏊

Today we had Xander hit the pool in the 100 and 200 Freestyle where he smashed 2 x PBs 👀 and a top 10 result in the 200m Free 👏 Congratulations Xander 🏊

Massive congratulations to Xander tonight who crushed his 800m Freestyle with a 10 sec PB which saw him earn a Bronze medal.🥉

🔴🔵🔴🔵 Brisbane Junior Short Course Champs 🔵🔴🔵🔴

What a fantastic weekend of racing from our junior stars, 11 PBs from 15 races and a top 5 finish from Xander in the 200m Freestyle.

Special mention goes to Tilly who was about to race 50m Backstroke when the fire alarm went off and evacuation was ordered, still putting up a great result despite the unexpected delay.

Congratulations to our super swimmers who braved some windy conditions today. Some great racing and race skills on display across the day which makes a happy coach.

Congratulations to our swimmers who competed over the weekend at the Brisbane Senior Short Course Championships

Lots of PB's and great racing skills were also on display.

Special mention to Suly and Amber who both earned Qualifying times for the Qld Short Course Champs coming up next month.

We look forward to seeing our swimming legends all back to training this week as Term 3 begins

What a day in the pool! 🏊‍♂️🔥

Proud of these swimmers for stepping up, racing with confidence, and achieving so many personal bests. The hard work, commitment, and positive attitude shown at training are paying off, and it's fantastic to see everyone challenging themselves and improving.

Remember, every PB is a sign of progress and proof that consistency matters. Keep believing in yourselves, keep supporting each other, and keep chasing those goals.

The journey continues, but today we celebrate the effort, the courage, and the results. Well done team! 💙❤️💪

Congratulations to our Southern Cross superstars who braved some fresh winter breezes today and swam very well.

Lots of PB's ⏳, medals 🥇and qualifying times 👀 for Brisbane Short Course Champs.💪

Great racing skills all day which makes a very happy Coach Cam 🤝

Special mention to Isobel on her first meet, although I think her highlight was laying in the sunshine between the races 😅

Next Coach attended meet will be Sommerville SC Prep Meet, Noms due this Tues 9/6
