Hi Everyone,

It is that time of year again to hold our Annual General Meeting.

Venue: Scaddan Bowling Club

The AGM will be followed by a general meeting, lunch, then social bowls.

As usual all positions will be declared vacant, so if you have been thinking about taking on a role now is the time.

If you have any agenda items for the general meeting please let Trudi know.

Friday night saw our yearly windup awards night once again held at the Pier Hotel, I’m sure a great night was had by the 30 plus members who came for a meal, a few drinks 🍻🥂 and a laugh or two as we saw our various championship winners collect their prizes from our captains Michael and Margaret. Once again many thanks to all our valued sponsors for making the night memorable 👏🏻

A very successful Scaddan Carnival was held yesterday, many thanks to our many generous fantastic sponsors who’s support for our club is much appreciated. Thanks also to our incredible members who worked tirelessly on the day and leading up to the event, I won’t name individuals but a great team effort by all.
Finally many thanks to all the teams that travelled and supported the carnival, hopefully everyone had a great time.

Men’s league championships have been run and won with Esp winning 4’s, triples and pairs and Scaddan’s John Bruechle winning the singles

King of the Scroungers was played today with many thanks to our generous sponsors Frank and Trish Stone carrying on the tradition for the Ian Styles Perpetual Trophy.

Congratulations to the boys from Scaddan 2 who narrowly missed out on making the pennants grand final today going down to Hopetoun, well done to all the players on a successful season

Last weekend saw the running of our Men’s Singles club championship with a good field of 16 players competing for the prestigious Singles title sponsored by Wally and Marg Vandenberghe.
This year in a hotly contested 2 days of competition came down to the final two players John Bruechle and Tim Williams with John prevailing 21-17, congratulations to our 2026 champion Johnny Bruechle who has shown that if you put in the hours of practice then you’ll reap the rewards 🏆
Congrats to all the players and many thanks again to the Vandenberghe family for their sponsorship.
