The Regional GC Pennant season was wound up last week. Division 1 played in February saw Coutts Crossing the winners. Division 2 and 3 were played during March and April. Sawtell were victors in both divisions. In Division 2 we won all matches Division 3 saw all teams winning 2 matches each. Sawtell had the best net result

Sawtell is proud to announce two new club champions. The AC Handicap singles competition has been played and won. Derek secured Division 1. Carol Cate was runner up. while Brenda excelled in Division 2 with Wendy Forbes runner up. Well for this husband and wife team.

Sawtell was well represented at this weeks GC Carnival at Forster. In the winners circle
Kay Elliott won Block A. Marguerite Hackett lost on a count back for runner up in Block D. In the doubles matches Wendy Forbes and her partner had a win, Sue Bryan and her partner and Jenny Charnock and her partner were runners up in their blocks.

3 days of RC at Sawtell have been run and won. With the help and support from many of our members a successful 3 days. Although the field was small competition was strong. Peter Waters was in defeated to win block A with Gary Urquhart runner up. Block B was won by Jenny Arnold with Cath Waters runner up. Block C went to Graeme King with Colleen Brooks the runner up

Round 2 of Division One pennants was played today at Sawtell. Home and away matches between Port Macquarie and Sawtell saw Sawtell win the morning session 2 matches to 1. The afternoon session was won by Port Macquarie 2 matches to 1. The final game was a hard fought battle between Peter Waters (Sawtell) and Tony Croft (Port) going right down the wire to the 12th hoop in the third game. Great to watch

Next Sunday will see the final match of the season. Coutts Crossing will play Port Macquarie at Sawtell
