Priorities have stood in the way of golf this year unfortunately but have a few to mention that I have completed:

Mount Lofty GC, Mount Osmond GC and Copperclub GC (phenomenal) - designed by the Shark.

There is something truly phenomenal about golf courses. Layouts to then being at a tee off thinking about the best placement on a drive to the next shot. The effort by volunteers or also paid staff that put in the effort each week for a course to look divine for us to be able to play on it. Should I hit it short to then allow the next shot to be on the green? Should I go through the gap in the trees or chip it out to play it safe? The designers would be laughing after the idea that popped in their head to ensure that we have to think about how to play a shot. We also only have ourselves to blame! Gotta love it.

Good evening all,

I have been busy these last 6 months but I have managed to complete a few courses in South Australia.

These courses being: Little Parra Golf Course, Valley View Golf Course, Regency Park Community Golf Course, Glanville Golf Course and Tanunda Pines Golf Club.

I have now completed #76 Golf courses.

It was a great day dusting off the cobwebs today after 5 months off at Gardiners Run Golf Course with Davo. Hot conditions and a beautiful course. It takes it out of you 18 holes. 110 off the tee. I was happy with the result! How did all go over the weekend or recently?

Golf Course #70: Sunday the 14 of July: 2024. Cardinia Beaconhills Golf Club. I played with A Pom and two Irish blokes with one who had never played 18 until this day. The stableford competition was with Future Golf, the weather did not like us with plenty of rain and puddles as greens putting and it going next to no where. Overall good banter and a great day too get to know legends.

Golf Course #69: Sunday the 9th of June 2024: Ivanhoe Public Golf Course. A fun round with three other random blokes who were mates. It was wet on this day and I was not keen to play but am glad I did as I played the best round with achieving 93 off the stick. One par 5 was great for me and everything was coming off just right. A public golf course which was busy but aloud for up and down holes to make it enjoyable.

Golf Course #70: Monday 10th of June 2024: Lang Lang Golf Club, with thanks to Future Golf for the Stableford Competition. I played with an organiser and his mate. Too many three puts cost me on this day but glad I attended with getting 4th overall in points. Greens were unpredictable at times and overall a course in good nick.
