Hi Everyone

Members of the State Sailing and Power Boating Team will be looking after the offsite water activities at Nagambie for AJ2022 and I am looking for expressions of interest from anyone who is interested in helping.

At the moment we will be running 6 activities and need help with the supervision of:
- Swimming with small inflatable pool toys
- An inflatable ‘Aqua Park’ https://www.ozinflatables.com.au/product/aqua-park-for-sale/
- A giant water slide https://www.ozinflatables.com.au/product/giant-slide/
- Raft building
- Canoeing and Sit-ons and
- Sailing

The sailing activity is being managed by Davo and will involve the yachts being skippered by participants in a National Summer Sailing School, but if there are insufficient applicants for that we will need skippers. We will also need suitably qualified safety boat operators and safety boats.

Activities will run from 4th to 12th January 2022 and we will be on site from 1st to 15th for site set up and pack down.

Camping for those interested (your own tents, campers, caravans, etc) will be provided on site at no cost and we will have access to a commercial kitchen, toilets and showers at the regatta centre.

Everyone who helps with the activity will need to register as part of the Victorian contingent and costs are unknown at this stage.

We will need 50+ staff to run the site so if you know of any Rovers or Leaders who may be interested, please pass this on.

I’m also looking for people to come up with an idea and then erect a gateway at the site. All materials will need to be provided and transported to the site and it will need to be high enough to get a bus under. Maybe someone knows of a Rover Crew with these skills.

If you have any questions or are able to help for all or part of the time, can you please email Steve Burns at [email protected] with your contact details and your preference for an activity (if any) and I will add your name to the list.

More details on what we will be doing at Nagambie will be provided once they have been confirmed by the organizing committee.

Thanks

Steve
