🌺🙏🏽 And that’s a wrap on the inaugural Oh My Yoga Bali Retreat at Santra Putra Guesthouse!

Over 5 days and 9 sessions, we shared more than 17 hours of yoga and mindfulness practice, enjoyed scenic walks through the local landscape, took part in a sacred water purification ceremony, and indulged in plenty of delicious food and drinks along the way.

So proud of our 6 wonderful students, all of whom were Bali and yoga retreat first timers.

Adapting to the rhythms of a new place and committing to a daily practice of self development is no easy feat - especially at the start. Yet every single one of them showed up every day with a willingness to embrace whatever challenges awaited them.

Watching their confidence grow and their practice deepen over the course of the retreat was truly special.

Thank you for trusting in the process and for helping make this first Bali yoga retreat such a memorable experience. 2027 dates coming soon! ✨🧘🏽‍♀️🌴

For months, I’ve been getting DMs asking if I was in Bali because of my content… Well, now that I’m officially back, here’s a sneak peek of my home practice just to confuse you a bit more 🤪🤣

While my social accounts are 100% authentic - made up of photos, videos, and screenshots from real-life practices and classes - it’s still not real life. I don’t post in real time, and I usually only post the pretty things. It’s a curated version of my life as a yoga student and teacher.

Sorry to burst your social media bubble 😂😝 but don’t worry… there’s plenty more Bali content coming soon.

Backbends week, or as one of my students called it yesterday morning; “the anti-Quasimodo class” 🤣

Backbends help to strengthen the back body, so we can open and expand the chest, front body and mind.

They may look outwardly impressive and physically challenging (and they are!) but they also require a great deal of mental attention and focus too…

Small progress and improvements - yes, always. Perfection - probably never!
