The sailing and paddle season commences this month come down to experience the fun of LAUNCH DAY with the paddle/sail past, Commodore’s Cup race or relax on the balcony and enjoy the sunset! Races each Sunday, except on and our first OPEN DAY on 24th Oct. New and Prospective members are welcome to come and see what being part of the Hampton Sailing Club community is all about. Will we see you on the water this month?

OK thrill seekers if you have a kayak, paddleboarding or a dinghy let’s make the Commodore’s Cup on 4 October a day to remember.

We kick off with a Grand Paddle and Sail Past from 13:00-13:30 where we pay due respect to our Commodore.

This is followed by the fiercely contested Commodore’s Cup after which we return to the Clubhouse for post race grazing plates and awards, including best decorated craft.

This is a day not to be missed as we formally celebrate the season opening.
Please sign up so we can plan catering for the afternoon.

Warm weather and gentle breeze encouraged a strong fleet. A day of races within races as the sailors actively contested every position in the fleet. Great sailing and thanks to everyone who made it happen. We are always grateful for support of those who volunteer for the day.

Racing cancelled today. Disappointing but SO Melbourne. I did see a fleet of lasers out and there were a few capsizes. Safety first for Hampton Sailing Club.
