Disclaimer: Honesty post.
For those who don’t know, I’ve pulled out from my Season A bodybuilding competitions and have postponed til Season B. I’m still not even 100% sure if I’ll continue prep this year.

Sometimes, I’m all fire and focused and driven to succeed. But other times, I’m an emotional mess and can’t get out of bed. This year, I feel like every curveball has been thrown at me, and I’m not sure I can continue. Prep is hard as it is; but when you are essentially homeless, living in and out of your van and various friends places, travelling back and forth interstate for family occasions, including my grandmothers funeral and likely another one coming up soon… my emotional bandwidth and resilience has taken a hit. Willpower and discipline go out the window. At this point, I don’t know if I’m really cut out for bodybuilding. I don’t know how to put my emotions aside and just get the job done. I feel deeply, and things affect me deeply. Prep is isolating. And being halfway across the state from friends and family can be hard. Especially when people are dying, I’m struggling financially to get there and stress levels high. I’m grateful to those who have given me a helping hand.
Sometimes it just comes down to timing; and I obviously did not pick the right timing his year.

Working in the mines is a privilege that I am grateful for; and I love where I live in Perth now. But, it doesn’t always mean that I’m ’loaded’ as some assume. As a single home owner; there is a lot of expenses that I’ve had to sacrifice other luxuries such as travel or visiting my family back in Victoria. Throw in Air BnB and attempting to prep for an IFBB show (actually the original plan was FMG, NBA and IFBB) 😅… I guess I never did the math properly and was a little too ambitious. Now I’m questioning whether I should be in prep at all. Red flags at the end of last year that I ignored… wishing I had of paid more attention to now 😅 that have cost me far more than I could have anticipated.

Anyway. We turn a fresh page. Who knows what’s next. I’ll let you know once I know..

In the meantime, look after yourselves and your loved ones. You never know if you will see them again. 🫶

When a client comes to me, we nut out their ultimate goals, and then break it down into stages and smaller achievable steps that they can easily start with and accomplish. This builds confidence, momentum and keeps them motivated to continue. Progress takes time & patience, so it’s important to set smaller achieveable goals that help you to keep going long term. Some of these photos are weeks apart; some are up to 2 years apart. Success doesn’t come overnight! Put in the work, and the results will follow. 💪🏽

I am so proud of each and every one of my clients, no matter how big or small their progress. Every step in the right direction is an improvement, even if it’s two steps forward, one step back - and true success only comes from not giving up and continuing to show up and do the work, day in, day out.

PLANT BASED NOURISHMENT ✨
Wholefoods plant based foods to nourish my body and mind! I love to make my meals look and taste delicious, full of fibre and nutrients. It’s important to have a source of Protein, Carbohydrates and healthy Fats at every meal, and to fill up on high fibre fruit & veggies for satiety and micronutrients 🥒 🥦

My lunches of late look like this:

Protein source: 150g Tempeh 🫘
Carbs: 100g Sweet Potato 🍠
Fats: 50g Avocado + 30g Hommus + Hemps seeds sprinkled on top 🥑
Fibre: Baby spinach + cucumber 🥒
Flavour: Nutritional yeast flakes + lemon juice or balsamic vinegar 🍋

CALS: 467
Protein: 32g
Carbs: 27g
Fats: 23g

*REMEMBER: Everyone’s specific calorie and nutrient needs are DIFFERENT - it is important to get professional advice on how much you need to eat for your body, health, goals and training requirements and not base it off of someone else’s eating plan (ie. mine). 10 WEEKS ➡️ 3 KG DOWN 👇🏽

19th September - 30th November.
~1800 Cals
15k steps daily
4-5 weights sessions per week,
Cardio: 20 mins Assault bike x 5 per week - added recently.

I have not been the most consistent with my diet or training, up and down a lot with my FIFO work, fatigue, low iron and other factors, but we are beginning to balance out and find our rhythm now.

Show dates have been confirmed:
17 Weeks out from WA State titles on April 4th in Perth.
23 Weeks
24 Weeks Nationals Gold Coast 🙌🏼

This is gonna be a huge season for me…!
