On Thursday our ladies teams hosted teams from Modbury to compete for the Friendship Shield.

Although it was a hard fought game, which enabled us to 'trial' 20 of our players, it was also a great day of friendship, fun and camaraderie.

The Friendship shield was won by Modbury after a four year stay at Salisbury!

After a successful start to our trial program on Sat, we turn to this week’s schedule as below.

Wed 9th Sept – Internal Trial, 1130 for 1200 start. M***i (can wear uniform if you wish)

Sat 12th Sept – Home Trial hosting Hope Valley and Kensington Marryatville. UNIFORM. 1230 for 1300 start (although a little earlier arrival would be nice to ensure teams are squared away). Rink’s will be sorted by selectors on Thursday.

As always, please put your availability on the spreadsheet in the clubhouse, or contact the Bowls VP.

Good evening members,

An exciting opportunity has arisen for our members to hear from one of the sport’s most respected and accomplished coaches.

The Club is pleased to welcome current South Australian Open Men’s Coach, Les Carter, who will present on the importance of mental preparation, focus, and application during competition. This session is particularly timely as we approach the upcoming pennant season and will provide valuable insights for players of all levels.

The session will be held in the Clubrooms at 6pm on Friday evening, 25th September.

All members are invited and strongly encouraged to attend this informative and beneficial session.

Good afternoon members,

For those trialling tomorrow, the grass has been closed due to the rain received today. What that means, is that we have more teams than rinks under the Dome. It has been decided to split trials into a morning and lunch/after lunch session.

Important - if you havent been contacted by a selector, your start time is still 12 for 12:30. There will be 4 rinks in use from 9:30-12.30. This will allow everyone to get their games in for the day.

Any questions, please reach out to the bowls VP.
