Epic day for Cycle Speedway!!!

We kicked off our day with 4 rapid rounds of racing, we had two riders that polled high in the votes to get themselves rider of the week, they were JUNIOR Jaiden and Senior Stevie 👏

Next we had our fathers day race and our mega fathers day Raffle. A big thank you to the 5 dads that raced, we really hope to see you race full time next year 🙏 😀

A big thank you goes out to the fundraising team and well done to all those happy winners 🏆

Next we had the div 4 club match, which between Salisbury & Findon hasn't happened for many years. It was so great to see those smiles of the riders representing their club. Findon to strong in the end getting the Victory.
Findon 85 Salisbury 75.

The div 1 league match was next and although both teams are through to final both teams wanted to give it there all. A physical match with thrills and spill lead Findon to yet another Victory final scores Findon 85 Salisbury 71.

Lastly was the first ever womens club match in Australia, this was a massive step forward for women's racing and proof that it is growing at rapid speeds across the world. The racing was fierce in quite a few heats resulting in some big crashes and closely contested races. This will be a memory that these ladies will cherish for a long time as it's one for the record books.
Salisbury were a touch too strong in the end and got the Win Final scores Salisbury 86 Findon 71.

We would like to thank Findon for making the journey and presenting 3 teams 🙏

Last a big thank you to all the volunteers and organisers of the event.

@ 1:30pm 20” League has also returned!! Salisbury Jets vs Findon comets. Be sure to get down early and show your support for the younger riders.

@ 2:30pm 26” Division one hit the track, who will take the win! Be there to find out 😆

Saturday was a ripper day of racing, with plenty of action, close battles and some seriously fast riding.

Well done to everyone who went to Murray Bridge on Sunday for the Daniel Thompson Memorial championship.

Congratulations to everyone who managed a podium position, is always good to see our members on the podium 💪🏼

Shout out to Cody Chadwick who has now taken home 1st place in the Men’s open grade for the 5th time!! A championship Cody never seems to miss, honouring a great rider and friend.

Another shout out to Holly & Jacob Ffrench who are proving that they are a force to be reckoned with, always putting on a good display of racing & sportsmanship.
