Our All Abilities Open Day is only 6 days away!

To celebrate the launch of our new program, we wanted to celebrate our 4 Trailblazers. These 4 Ambassadors have been offered a term scholarship for our Neurodiverse and All Abilities Program starting in term 3.

Despite their challenges, these superstars have already made a huge impact at our club. Their amazing attitude and resilience are a lesson to us all. We are so proud to have them leading the way and can’t wait to watch their continued growth!

A massive shoutout to Ava Jones, Henry Ryswyk, Matthew Edgley, and Marcus Semodio.

Their journey is just beginning, and we hope their spirit inspires even more kids to join the STC family.

Our Club was recently successful in a grant application from the Victorian Government All Abilities Sports Fund to improve accessibility and inclusivity for people with a disability in sport in regional and rural Victoria.

The grant will fund an Introduction to Tennis for neurodivergent children and young people, commencing in June 2026. We will also include other all abilities players to ensure we are as inclusive as possible.

Registrations are open for our first Open Day on June 21.

Yesterday we kicked off our inaugural Junior Committee meetup!

We sat down to hear from our junior members about what they want to see more of at the club. They shared some awesome "outside the box" ideas for more social events and ways to make the STC experience even better for everyone.

After the meeting, we all got out on the court for a fun hit, followed by a great lunch thanks to our sponsors at Hungry Jack's Sale!

We're always looking for our juniors to join our Junior Committee so reach out if you're interested in joining our army of young leaders. It’s great to have these legends helping shape where the club is headed.

The future at STC is looking bright!

Our next scholarship recipient stands out for her unwavering commitment and the incredible dedication she brings to the club. She is someone who consistently shows up, gives her absolute best effort, and leads through her actions on and off the court.

As a valued member of our Junior Committee and a star junior assistant coach, she has a natural gift for mentoring and inspiring our younger players. While she packs a powerful punch during play, it is her positive energy and sportsmanship that shine bright, showing everyone exactly how the game should be played.

Sale Tennis Club hosted a huge weekend of tennis on May 23–24 as Tennis Seniors Victoria launched its first ever Teams Event and inaugural Under 30s competition.

Under 30s winners “Stuart” edged out “Triple T Tennis”, while “Fire Sale” claimed the Over 30s title after a dominant weekend on court.

A highlight of the event was the inclusion of world #1 PST4 Para Standing Tennis player Luke Missen, who is set to compete internationally in London and Italy next month.

With strong support from players and Wellington Shire, organisers are already planning an even bigger event for 2027.

The super star team from Tennis Seniors Victoria are at Sale Tennis Club for our NRT and weekend Teams Event. We appreciate the effort that Bert, Cath and Mike put into organising and running the event. We also appreciate the financial support from Wellington Shire that makes the event possible.
