Attention Current Auskickers!

Is your child born in 2017 or 2018 and eligible for Under 9s next year?

We’d love to invite them to come along to an Under 9s training session this Thursday night, from 4:00–5:00pm at Sale Oval (Scoreboard End).

Come and get a feel for what U9s footy is all about!

Hi Everyone,

Just a reminder that tomorrow is our last session for the year with the presentation night to follow.

5-5:30pm - Auskick Games.

5:30pm - Upstairs for medal presentations.

6pm - Pizza for dinner 🍕🍕🍕🍕. Free pizza for all Auskickers and $5 per family (cash only).

Hope to see as many there as possible. If you cant make it, please message the page and we can arrange for you to pick up the medal and certificate from the football club on a Thursday night 😊.

Lastly, a massive thankyou to Ranford's Family Butcher and Centre Bakery for their support this year. Best bread and snags in town and it goes a long way to helping our Auskickers!

Hi All,

Hope everyone is enjoying the long weekend!

Just a reminder there is no Auskick tomorrow due to the public holiday.

We have two final sessions left for the season:
- 16th of June: Normal session.
- 23rd of June: 5-5:30pm Auskick games and then we will head upstairs for our Auskick presentation night.

We will be having a pizza night and family are all welcome to attend 🍕🍕.

Hi everyone 🏉

Auskick is back on tomorrow night at 5pm and look forward to seeing everyone again!

Please see the below information session which is available to all parents tomorrow night for free and held at the Sale Football Club.

As parents, we all want our children to succeed and enjoy their chosen sports, but are we giving them the best support we can on and off the field?

Former StKilda captain and sports dad "Nathan Burke" is coming to sale, to deliver a 90-minute seminar on what great support looks like, and best of all, this is a free event for parents.

Sale Magpies Auskick encourages all of our parents to attend this terrific opportunity made possible by a collaboration of Sale Football Netball Club/Sale Junior Football Club , Sale Little Athletics Club and the Sale Basketball Association.

🏉 AusKick is BACK! 🏉

Hi Everyone, AusKick is back on tonight at the Sale Football Club starting at 5pm and finished by 6pm.

There will be a sausage sizzle and juice boxes available to purchase at the end of the session. $2.50 per sausage and $2 per drink. Cash only.

As always, if you are able to help out with any of the sessions that would be greatly appreciated.

Please see below for anyone interested in Superkick! 🏉

Superkick is a program targeted at ages 8-12 (open to 7 -16), when participants are ageing out of the Auskick Program and is a good stepping stone before reaching Junior Community football.

Sale and Surrounds INDOOR Superkick Centre – Starting August 19th!
Monday afternoons from 4pm at Gippsland Regional Sports Complex (Court TBD)
5 weeks, starting August 19th.
Program cost is $50, which includes a superkick pack and 5 weeks of Superkick programming.
Program is ran by AFL Victoria Staff.
Ages 7-12

Hi Everyone

An invitational email for our Auskickers who are progressing to Under 9s next season was sent out to parents registered email addresses last week for those who did not receive it please see email below.

Hi All,

I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Jamie Sweeney and alongside Sam Anstee we're the current Under 9's coaches at Sale Junior Football Club for season 2024.

Firstly I'd like to congratulate your child on their participation in Sale Magpies Auskick 1&2 program this year, I hope they enjoyed it and it has given you a great insight into the commitment Sale Junior Football and Sale Football Netball Club has to the development of our junior footballers.

We would love to invite your child to come along and join the current under 9's squad and coaching at one of their training sessions, on Thursday 18th July.

This is aimed to ease the transition from Auskick into our junior football program, both yourself and your child can meet the families, helpers, team mates and participate in our training session.

We look forward to seeing lots of new faces.

⚫️⚪️Final Auskick of the season tonight at 5pm.
We will have a short half hour session on the ground followed by the presentation upstairs.
🍕 Pizza and juice will be provided for all Auskicker and siblings.
👟 please bring a change of shoes for the kids to avoid dragging grass inside.

🌧🌧 TONIGHTS AUSKICK CANCELLED 🌧🌧

Hi Everyone,
Unfortunately the weather doesn't look like blowing over until after 7pm so we have decided to cancel the session for tonight.

Please see an update below for the remaining weeks:

⚫️ 10th of June - No Auskick next week due to public holiday (Kings Birthday Weekend).
⚪️ 17th of June - Auskick as normal 🏉.
⚫️ 24th of June - Final Auskick session and presentation night upstairs 🏅.

Also, please ensure all registrations/names are up to date as we are getting the medals engraved through Pete Morrison at Gippsland Trophy House 🏆.
