🏏🔴 SEASON 2026/27 – WE ARE RAISING THE BAR 🔴🏏

At Nelson Bay Cricket Club, we would much rather celebrate good behaviour than police bad behaviour — but there is a line.

Cricket should be competitive, passionate and enjoyable, but undermining or abusing an umpire is never acceptable and can put your team’s result at risk.

If something happens during a match, please report it to the club as soon as possible so it can be lodged with NJCA.

Serious or repeated breaches will be dealt with under the NJCA Code of Conduct, up to and including suspension.

This applies to players, coaches, parents, supporters and officials. We all have a responsibility to set the right example, particularly around our junior players.

And finally, a huge thank you to the overwhelming majority of our Makos family who already support our players, respect our umpires and represent our club the right way.

Our junior teams are coming together for the 2026/27 season, and we’re nearly there!

🔴 UNDER 9’s – ONLY 4 MORE PLAYERS NEEDED!
We’re just four players short of completing our U9’s team. Boys and girls of all abilities are welcome — no experience necessary!

🔵 UNDER 11’s – STILL LOOKING!
We’re still chasing players to join our U11’s. Whether you’ve played before or want to give cricket a go for the first time, we’d love to have you.

✅ ONE UNDER 13’s TEAM – FULL!
Great news — one of our Under 13’s teams is now full! We’re thrilled with the response and can’t wait to see the kids out on the field this season.
