Designed by Graham Marsh and Ross Watson, Horizons golf course is a par 72, 18-hole world class championship golf course boasting beautiful scenery and plenty of wildlife. Our slope ratings are:
139 off the championship blue tees
134 off the members white tees
136 off the ladies red tees
118 for men and 127 for ladies off the resort social yellow tees. Surrounded by natural bushland, the course i

s 6,187 metres from the back tees, with four par threes, ten par fours and four par fives. It offers challenges and rewards for players of all standards and levels of experience. This challenging course is located minutes from the crystal clear waters of Port Stephens. Horizons no longer manages any accommodation on site. Our brand covers golf, events, functions and the function center. Please note that all accommodation is owned privately and not by Horizons so please consider this when placing a review on our page about any accommodation! Thank you!

On Sunday 19th July, the final day of the Port Stephens Winter Festival, the human Humpback is back! … as we celebrate the annual whale watching season.

Join all the fun as the mammoth mammal takes shape on the sand of Fingal Beach. Registration is from 10am in the reserve at Fingal Bay with the formation from 11.30 to 12noon on the beach.

On Sunday 5th July, Horizons Golf Resort hosted the NSW GOLF 2026 Senior Order of Merit.
Hawkes Nest golf club member Warwick Jones shot a very impressive 70 off the stick to win the event.
Congratulations Warwick on a great result, and thanks to everyone who participated in this much loved event.
