As the End of Financial Year approaches, Nelson Bay Netball Association is inviting local businesses to partner with us through sponsorship opportunities for the upcoming season.

Ella Jones ~ Nelson Bay Netball Association player smashing it out on the big stage 💙💙

💙💛 ROUND 8 MVP | HUNTER NETBALL TEAM 2 💛💙

Congratulations to Ella Jones, who has been named Most Valuable Player following Hunter Netball Team 2's impressive Round 8 victory over Ku-Ring-Gai in the Netball NSW DOOLEYS Metro League competition. 🏆

Ella's performance was a fantastic example of commitment, versatility and team-first netball.

Whether it was WD, GD, GK or even a stint through Centre, Ella was ready to step into whatever role was required and deliver for the team. Her tight, strong defensive game helped set the tone from the opening whistle, applying relentless pressure and making life difficult for the opposition all night.

Coach Simone praised Ella's willingness to take on any challenge and her ability to perform wherever she was needed.

💬 "Ella played multiple positions throughout the game and delivered every time. Tight, strong defence in WD, GD and GK, plus a crack in Centre when needed. She's always happy to get in and deliver whatever I ask of her in any position. A positive and hard worker on the court."

Senior State Titles may be over for another year, but we’re already counting down to Junior State Titles in just a couple of weeks! 💙💛

A huge thank you to all our players, coaches, managers, umpires, volunteers and supporters who represented Nelson Bay Netball Association with pride this weekend. We’re incredibly proud of everyone’s efforts and can’t wait to do it all again with our junior teams soon🏐

A determined Senior State Titles campaign for our Opens team! 💙🤍

Stepping up into the highly competitive Division 2 competition, our Opens side embraced the challenge and competed strongly throughout the tournament, finishing in 19th place.

The team played a number of incredibly close contests, showing resilience, grit and a willingness to fight for every ball. Their effort and commitment across the three days were a credit to both the team and Nelson Bay Netball Association.

An outstanding Senior State Titles campaign for our 17s! 💙🤍

Finishing 4th and recording an incredible 13 wins, only 3 losses and 1 draw, this talented group showcased their skill, determination and teamwork every time they stepped onto the court.

The girls represented Nelson Bay with pride, competing fiercely and supporting one another throughout a fantastic three days of netball. To finish just outside the medals in such a competitive division is a remarkable achievement and a testament to the hard work they have put in throughout the season.

A huge thank you to Head Coach Amanda Wilks, Assistant Coach Taylar Wilks and Manager Michele Chadwick for their commitment, leadership and support throughout the tournament.

Our 15s have shown incredible determination, growth and resilience across the three days, finishing with a fantastic Top 10 result. Every player should be proud of the way they represented Nelson Bay, competing hard, supporting one another and continuing to improve with every game.
