St Marys Rugby League Club is as old as Rugby League itself and is the oldest club in the Penrith District being formed in 1908. The St Marys Rugby League Club has established a reputation for providing their Players and Coaches as many opportunities as they can to make it to the highest level. The Club is proud to boast that it is one of the largest junior rugby league clubs in the world. The clu

b proudly supports and nurtures the development of 60 rugby league sides from under 5’s through to Ron Massey Cup, with in excess of over 750 players; we are regarded as one of the most successful rugby league clubs in the history of the game. The Club has produced 3 Australian Representative Players in John Cartwright, Mark Geyer and Michael Jennings and 1 New Zealand Representative, Tony Puletua. We hope and trust many more players will follow in future years from this great Club and hopefully go on to play in the NRL, represent their State or Country.

EMU PLAINS JUNIOR RUGBY LEAGUE CLUB together with St Marys Junior Rugby League Club will once again be hosting the Pesle Dicker Memorial U9’s Gala Day.

The Shield is played in memory of two club stalwarts from the Emu Plains and St Marys clubs. John Pesle from Emu Plains and Tony Dicker from St Marys who were both long serving committee members and their children and grandchildren are still strongly connected to their respective clubs. The Pesle Dicker Shield is played in honour of these two men who gave so much to their communities.
