Last Sunday saw the official opening of our bowls rink and what a fantastic day it turned out to be. The weather was kind to us, almost perfect and 18 people turned up for a roll up and free BBQ afterwards. Amongst those were several new players, having a roll up and a bit of fun. Aaron, Heather, Glenn, Graeme, Liz and Geraldine all enjoying themselves for the afternoon and a couple have already joined up for a game, great news. We have decided to keep Sundays at 2pm as a training, come and try day until daylight savings comes in, to allow new bowlers the chance to come along and give bowls a try. Why not join in the fun this Sunday, hope to see you there.

🏌️ RIVERHILL TROPHY 2026 – RESULTS

What a close competition! With only 3.5 shots separating the two clubs, congratulations to Scamander Golf Club for winning the Riverhill Trophy 2026 with a combined nett score of 673.75! 🏆 St Marys Golf Club finished on 677.25 nett making it an incredibly close contest right to the end! 👏

A huge thank you to everyone who helped get this competition off the ground John Tatnell, Tim Bell and Barry Harrison, along with members from both clubs who competed and helped make the inaugural Riverhill Trophy such a success.

The course was in amazing condition and a joy to play on. A massive thank you to John Sampson for cooking the BBQ, Bruce for doing the bar and Drew for doing the golf presentation. 🍻🏌️

We’re already excited to do it all again next year! 🙌
