Opened the club for some travellers back in August and they sent this message:
Travelling with another couple from Binningup in the South West of WA. Rang and spoke briefly with Brian about the chance of a roll up. Brian is immobile at the moment and said that if we had our own bowls we were welcome to go onto the greens. Here's where it gets fantastic, Brian rang somebody who couldn't come down but then somebody rang Olga, who saw us on the way to the greens and said she was coming to get us out some matts. Olga is a "Doll". She got out the kitties and matts, she babysat our dog and opened the bar for us and made us so welcome. Wish I could post this on your page, your members should know what a fabulous club member Olga is. Thankyou St Lawrence Bowls Club and thankyou Olga. You're a ⭐.

A big thank you to all those that worked very hard and achieved a lot at the working bee held on Saturday also many thanks to Kent from the St Lawrence Hotel for the donation of pots for the palm trees. Another donation of garden soil from Mark Robertson Earthmoving is very much appreciated.

DEFIBRILLATOR!!!! At last it’s all installed Thankyou to Co2 Fire & Electrical. Easily accessible to those in need at the Broardsound Centenary Hall. It is in an alarmed cabinet and also has a snake kit if needed. A big Thankyou to all who contributed
Craig Otto is available to do domestic fire alarms also and will be visiting St Lawrence again around October if you would like work done don’t hesitate to contact him and have it done while he is here 🙂 great bloke
