Thank you to everyone who attended our AGM last Wednesday. It was wonderful to see so many people there supporting our club and helping shape the future of the upcoming season.

Following all committee positions being vacated, our new committee for the 2026/2027 season was voted in.

Congratulations to all of our committee members. Thank you for stepping up and volunteering your time, passion and dedication to our club. We look forward to another fantastic season ahead and appreciate all that you do for our players, families and community.

We have three vacant committee positions:
* Diamond/Grounds Coordinator
* Whippet/Peewee/Volunteer Coordinator
* Sponsorship/Fundraising/Windup Coordinator

What a weekend for our Rockingham Raptors at the TBAWA State Championships — officially our most successful State Championships in recent history! 🏆

Months of hard work, commitment, training, teamwork and dedication all led to this moment… and what a way to see it all pay off.

🥇 THREE GOLD MEDAL TEAMS

⚾️U9
⚾️U11 Red
⚾️U13

Even more incredible — all three teams went undefeated for the entire tournament! An outstanding achievement and a true testament to the effort these players and coaches have poured into preparation for States.

Our U11 Black finished an impressive 5th, and our Under 12s secured a fantastic 4th place. We could not be prouder of what these teams achieved on the big stage.

Getting to States — whether you bring home a medal or not — takes an enormous amount of work behind the scenes. A heartfelt thank you to our amazing State Coordinators, dedicated Coaches, Team Managers, Scorers and supportive parents. Your time, energy and commitment make moments like this possible for our players.

To every single player who took the field this weekend — the Rockingham Raptors could not be prouder of you.

🥇U9s — you played with so much heart. The joy on your happy little faces said it all. This is just the beginning of your States journey… and what an incredible way to start!

🥇U11 Red — precision, teamwork, focus. You were like a well-oiled machine all tournament. Enjoy that gold medal — we have no doubt it’s the first of many.

🥇U13s — what a way to finish your teeball careers with the Raptors. Ending on a gold medal, undefeated, together as a team. Thank you for your years of dedication to our club. Treasure this moment — your final teeball game being a gold medal win is something truly special.

This weekend was about more than medals — it was about teamwork, resilience, club pride and Raptors spirit.

Good luck to all of our Rockingham Raptors State Teams, as you head into the TBAWA State Teeball Championships, which commences tomorrow!

This is your moment. Every early training session, every drill, every drop of sweat, every lesson learned, every bit of teamwork and determination — it has all led to this. Your hard work and dedication to your teams is about to be showcased on the state stage, and we could not be prouder of you.

To our incredible state coordinators, coaches, team managers, scorers and parents — thank you. Thank you for the countless hours, the organisation behind the scenes, the encouragement, the lifts to training and games, the scorebooks, the lineups, the support and belief in our players. This weekend wouldn’t happen without you.

Raptors, when you step onto that diamond, remember who you are and what you represent. Play with heart. Play with confidence. Trust your skills. Back your teammates. Support each other in every inning.

Go out there and show them what you’re made of — your skills, your teamwork, your determination… and most of all, have fun doing it!

The Rockingham Raptors are deeply saddened by the passing of John, a valued Life Member of our Club.

John was a highly respected member of the Raptors family who gave so much to our community over many years. His time, dedication and unwavering support helped shape our Club into what it is today. Whether it was lending a hand, offering guidance or simply showing up when it mattered most, John’s contribution went far beyond the field.

His legacy will live on in the players he supported, the families he connected with and the strong community spirit he helped build.

On behalf of everyone at the Rockingham Raptors, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Lyn and the entire family. Our thoughts are with you during this incredibly difficult time.

Rest peacefully, John. You will always be part of the Raptors family ❤️🖤
