$1.85 million supporting our local community!

Together with our fellow local clubs, we’re proud to provide $1,857,226 in ClubGRANTS funding for 2026, supporting local organisations, vital services and initiatives that make a genuine difference in our community.

It’s a great example of what can be achieved when local clubs work together, creating opportunities, strengthening connections and supporting the people and organisations that help our community thrive.

$831,366 in Support for our Community!

At Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club, being part of our community means much more than providing a place to meet, dine and connect. It means being there for the people and organisations who make our community stronger every day.

This year, we are incredibly proud to have provided $831,366 in ClubGRANTS funding, including support presented to 24 deserving organisations through Category #1 Grants doing extraordinary work across our community.

From supporting children and families, health and disability services, education and mental wellbeing, to helping those experiencing hardship and ensuring vital services can continue reaching people when they need them most, the impact of these organisations is felt far beyond the value written on a cheque.

Among this year's recipients are organisations including Northern Sydney Local Health District, Cerebral Palsy Alliance, Escabags, Gotcha4Life Foundation, Ronald McDonald House, Learning Links, Giant Steps Australia and many more.

To each of our recipients, thank you. Thank you for the compassion, dedication and countless hours you give to improving the lives of others. We are proud to stand alongside you and help make your important work possible.

And to our members, this is your Club making a difference. Your continued support allows Ryde-Eastwood Leagues Club to give back, build meaningful partnerships and invest in a stronger, more connected community for everyone.

This Friday, the Fitness Edge team will be jumping on the bikes and pedalling for a very special cause, helping raise funds to support sick kids and their families.

We’re already incredibly proud to have raised $3,113, which can make a real difference, helping provide 19 nights at the House and sponsoring 163 meals at the House 💙

• 8:00am – 8:00pm
• Fleet Steps, Royal Botanic Garden Sydney

Don’t worry, we won’t be cycling all day! Our riders will be split into Morning and Afternoon Teams, with plenty of time to rest, cheer each other on and soak up the atmosphere between riding sessions.

Harry’s Latest Pupdate! 🐾

Our sponsored Smart Pup, Harry, has had another busy month of learning, exploring and building the skills he’ll one day use to support a child and their family.

This month, Harry has been working on staying focused around distractions, calmly passing other dogs and people, and responding more quickly to his handler. He’s also learning some important new skills, including positioning himself neatly “under” tables and seating, and even walking backwards to help him navigate tight spaces.

One of Harry’s biggest experiences this month was a visit to a hospital, where he was introduced to busy corridors, lifts, medical equipment, unfamiliar sounds and plenty of people. Experiences like these are an important part of preparing Harry to confidently support his future child wherever life takes them.

Harry has also been out and about at shopping centres, parks, pet stores and local community spaces, and even met some horses!

His friendly and affectionate personality continues to shine, and with every new experience, Harry is learning to combine that beautiful social nature with the focus and self-control needed to become an assistance dog.

We’re so proud to support Harry on his journey and can’t wait to see what he learns next 🐶💙

We’re incredibly grateful for this support, which will help us continue providing vital assistance to veterans and their families in times of need.

A special thank you to our good friend Macca for attending the ClubGrants presentation and proudly accepting the cheque on behalf of Wounded Heroes Australia. It was a wonderful evening celebrating the many organisations doing great work in the community.
