Meal timing is personal.

Calorie balance is what matters most 👌

Whether you prefer:
🍽 2 larger meals
🍽 3 balanced meals
🍽 5 smaller meals

Your progress comes down to overall intake, consistency, and choosing an approach you can realistically maintain.

There’s no “perfect” number of meals per day.

The best structure is the one that fits your lifestyle, training, work, and hunger levels.

At Rushcutters Health, we focus on sustainable habits that work long term, not one-size-fits-all rules.

4 MOBILITY ESSENTIALS

HAMSTRINGS- single leg floor band stretch
Begin in a seated position, placing the band around your left foot.
Bend your right knee and place your right heel on the floor.
Use the band to pull your right leg towards you until you feel a good stretch.
Hold the stretch for a few seconds and then switch legs.

GLUTES- the floor glute stretch
Lie on a mat and bend both knees with feet on floor. Cross one ankle over the thigh of the opposite leg. Grasp the back of thigh of the outstretched leg, then pull toward the torso. Hold and breathe. The glutes help you extend your thighs from the hips and drive you forward.

HIPS – kneeling hip flexor stretch
Start in a half-kneeling position: Place one knee on the floor (use a mat or towel for comfort) and the opposite foot flat in front of you, forming a 90-degree angle at the front knee

Align your body: Keep your torso upright, ribs gently down, and stack your front knee over your ankle to avoid strain

Pelvic tilt: Slightly tuck your pelvis (posterior pelvic tilt) and engage the glute on the kneeling side to focus the stretch on the hip flexors rather than the lower back
Shift forward slowly: Lean your hips forward until you feel a stretch along the front of the hip and thigh of the kneeling leg

CALVES – single leg sprinter position
Get in the sprinter starting position on the floor
Place one foot behind you and keep it flat on the floor.
Bend your other knee
Repeat on the opposite side.

✅ Simone’s goals are to increase strength, support bone health, and build lean muscle.💪🏽

So in the last training block, she progressed her 3 major lifts, including:

Squats: 40kg → 50kg
Deadlifts: 50kg → 60kg
Bench Press: 35kg

Her program has focused on compound movements such as squats, deadlifts, and bench press, supported by accessory exercises including glute bridges and upper-body strength work. These exercises help build strength, stimulate bone loading, and support longevity.🥰

Whey protein is a high-quality, fast-absorbing dairy protein that promotes muscle growth, accelerates workout recovery, and aids weight management by increasing satiety. Rich in all nine essential amino acids—particularly leucine—it helps build muscle, reduce appetite, and improve metabolic rate. It is a convenient, cost-effective way to boost daily protein intake.

Henry led team education in today’s team meeting with a focus on NUTRITION, STRESS, RECOVERY & BEHAVIOUR

👉 Client results are influenced by much more than nutrition alone.

👉 Results are shaped by Nutrition, Sleep, Stress Management, Recovery and Consistency.

👉Most clients already know what healthy behaviours look like.
The challenge isn't knowledge. The challenge is applying those behaviours consistently when life gets busy, stressful and unpredictable.

STRESS AFFECTS EVERYTHING
-Stress influences recovery, food choices, energy levels, motivation and performance.
-Stress can be physical, mental, emotional, social or environmental. Understanding what is happening outside the gym is often just as important as what happens inside it.

KEEP NUTRITION SIMPLE
Before supplements, detoxes and advanced nutrition strategies, most clients would benefit from focusing on protein, fruit, vegetables, fibre and water. Simple habits done consistently outperform complicated plans done occasionally

BIGGEST TAKEAWAYS
-Consistency beats perfection. The best nutrition plan isn't the perfect one. It's the one a client can realistically follow for months and years. Clients don't fail because they lack information. They struggle because life gets in the way. Great coaching helps people navigate that reality
