Heartbreaking news

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Chris Young, Chalambar Golf Bowls Club.

Chris has been an outstanding bowler and ambassador of our sport over multiple decades.

A current National and Victorian State O60s skipper, Chris' absence will be felt far and wide.

Our deepest sympathies to Sue and the Young and Todd families.

Thanks for showing us how it's done Y***o. Rest In Peace 🙏

Our tiny club continues to celebrate big wins with Ben and Fred taking home the big money in the Horsham City sets play pairs rumour has it Fred carried Ben through the tournament and Ben came good in the Final well done gents and what a fantastic representation of our club 💙❤️💙❤️💪🏻

Last Sunday John, Jan and Freddy head all the way to Nyah Bowls club it was definitely worth the travel with them winning the day and taking home a little bit of fuel money

Daryl, Pam an Bysie played in a triples tournament at StArnaud Country club last weekend and ended up winning the day as the only team who had won all 4 games. A Fantastic result and representation for a little club 💪🏻
