🏏U14 Fantastic start to the Winter Season for Hume Cricket Club 🏏

A brilliant team win today against Donnybrook Dragons in our opening match of the season. The boys showed great teamwork, energy and determination right from the first ball to the last.

🏏 U12 Girls Through to the Grand Final 🏏

What an incredible achievement by our U12 Girls team, winning their semi-final and booking a place in the Grand Final.

These girls have come a long way since the start of the season. Many of them had never played cricket before, and some couldn’t even hold the bat properly in the beginning. To see them grow in confidence, skill, and teamwork to reach the Grand Final is something truly special.

At this point, win or lose the Grand Final doesn’t even matter the journey these girls have taken and the progress they’ve made is already a massive victory. 💪

A special shout-out to two outstanding performers:

⭐ Matilda – currently sitting on top of the entire league with 275 runs this season.
⭐ Ashneer Kaur – an incredible 29 wickets for the season, nearly double the wickets of the second place bowler, leading the league in bowling.

Both girls sitting #1 in the league for batting and bowling is a reflection of their hard work, dedication, and commitment throughout the season.

A huge congratulations to all the girls, and a big thank you to the parents, coaches, and volunteers who have supported and helped make this journey possible.

No matter what happens in the Grand Final, you’ve already made the club proud! 👏💙

Complete Dominance by Hume CC Juniors🏏

Hume Cricket Club u16 delivered a commanding performance, defeating Youlden Parkville by 120 runs.

Brilliant batting from Udhayjeet (66) and Mehdi Haider (56) powered the team to a competitive total. The momentum continued with an outstanding bowling spell from Shabad, who claimed 5/23 off 10 overs, sealing a massive victory for the team.

A true team effort and a big win for Hume CC! 🔥👏
