A big weekend ahead for Roxy!

Thirds kick things off under lights on Friday night at home, Our Senior Women return home to take on Taylors Lakes while the Under 18s head to Craigieburn looking to continue their strong season.

Reserves and Senior Men hit the road for a trip to Burnside.

300 GAMES 🖤🤍

This weekend we celebrate a remarkable milestone as Scott Poynter runs out for his 300th career game.

Scotty is a club favourite… or least favourite, depending on who you ask! In recent years amongst his incredible ball skills he’s taken on the important role of the club’s unofficial Social Club President, keeping everyone accountable with fines, organising functions, and somehow managing the fallout from failed footy trips.

His football journey has seen him pull on the boots for Jacana, Tullamarine, North Haven in South Australia, and of course Roxburgh Park, where he’s become a regular fixture in our senior side this season. Whether it’s locking down opponents in the back half or stirring up teammates off the field, Scotty’s presence around the club is one that’s greatly valued and he never lets us down on the field.

Congratulations on reaching 300 games, Scotty.

We hope you have a fantastic day and get to celebrate a well-deserved milestone with family, friends and teammates, we are so proud of you.

Another big weekend for the black and white with the Thirds hosting Greenvale on Friday night, before the U18s, Reserves and Senior Men face Sunbury Kangaroos at home while our Women travel to Craigieburn.

250 Games – Troy Allen 🖤🤍

This weekend we celebrate a remarkable milestone as Troy Allen runs out for his 250th game.

Having spent the majority of his football journey at Roxy, Troy’s career began more than 20 years ago. While the road to 250 hasn’t always been smooth, with multiple injuries popping up, Troy’s resilience and determination have never wavered.

Week after week, Troy fronts up and provides a reliable presence in our defence. Reaching 250 games is a testament to the character he has shown throughout his career.

A special thank you also goes to Mark, Wanda and Bushi, whose support and contribution to the football club throughout Troy’s journey have been greatly appreciated.

Congratulations Troy on 250 games. A fantastic achievement and one the entire Roxburgh Park family is proud to celebrate. ⚫⚪
