04/01/2024
As 2023 draws to close, it is an opportunity to not only reflect on the year that has been (the good, the bad and the ugly bits) but also an opportunity to look to the New Year with renewed hope and energy that the best is yet to come. π€
βοΈFor me there has been so many highlights including a very successful HILLS Relay For Life , the launch of the inaugural DV awareness and fundraising event with the NSW police commissioner (stay tuned for the 2024 event), the inaugural Reclaim the Night - The Hills, a record breaking The Hills Winter Sleep Out, seeing the Kenthurst Transitional Housing project come to life and everything else in between. π΄ππ‘
It has been another incredible year in the Hills Community and I am grateful for all our community groups and volunteers who make the Hills a great place to live, work and play. Without them nothing would happen and nothing would change! Thank you to all our volunteers and community groups for all their hard work and dedication to the Hills in 2023π
πThank you also to all of you for your ongoing friendship and support and I canβt wait to see what 2024 brings!
On behalf of myself and my family may I wish you and your loved ones a happy New Year filled with joy and happiness, good health and success. I hope 2024 is what you want it to be and so more much!
Enjoy celebrating tonight π₯³π
