2026 AGM – SAVE THE DATE 🩷🩵

Our Annual General Meeting is coming up!

📅 Tuesday, 27th October
⏰ 5:30pm - 7:00pm
📍 Federal Room, Black Buffalo

The AGM is a great opportunity to come along, hear what’s happening within the club and find out more about what’s ahead for the Jets.

If you’re interested in being involved with the club, all committee positions will be open for nominations, and we’d love to hear from anyone who may be interested in contributing in some way.

Next up to take to the court for our Charity Match is the incredible Mitch McPherson, founder of SPEAK UP! Stay ChatTY 💙

Our Junior Leaders were absolutely ecstatic when Mitch committed to being part of the match - and it’s easy to see why! Stay ChatTY has been a tremendous supporter of the Eastern Shore Jets Junior Programs, regularly joining us for engaging and meaningful sessions with our Junior Leaders.

Through open and honest conversations about mental health, connection, looking out for one another and the importance of speaking up, Stay ChatTY creates spaces where our young leaders feel comfortable having conversations that really matter!

The impact of these sessions goes far beyond the day — our Junior Leaders walk away with greater confidence, stronger communication skills and a better understanding of how they can support themselves, their teammates and their wider community.

We’re incredibly grateful for the work Stay ChatTY continues to do with young Tasmanians and for the support they’ve shown our Junior Leadership Program.

We can’t wait to see Mitch take to the court and show us his netball skills on Sunday 8th November!

Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads, stepdads, grandads, carers and father figures in our Jets family 🩷🩵

Thank you for the early mornings, late nights, endless lifts to training and games, cheering from the sidelines, scoring and supporting our players every step of the way. We appreciate everything you do for our club and our community.

We hope today is filled with love, relaxation and a little bit of spoiling — you deserve it!

Last Saturday night, some of our Jets members attended the STNA Junior Presentation Night. We are incredibly proud of how well they have represented our club throughout the season, both within their representative teams and across the STNA organisation. Their dedication, sportsmanship and commitment are a wonderful reflection of the Eastern Shore Jets.

A very special congratulations goes to Mendoza, who was awarded the Junior Umpire Encouragement Award! 🏆

Mendoza has worked diligently all season, and we’re so excited to watch her continue to grow and progress on her umpiring journey.

As we head into an exciting finals series, we’d like to share the reminder from STNA and encourage everyone involved to help create a positive and enjoyable environment for all.

To our players, coaches, officials, members and spectators — let’s remember to show respect, support one another and promote good sportsmanship both on and off the court.

Finals can bring plenty of excitement and emotion, but let’s represent our club with pride and ensure netball remains a positive experience for everyone involved.

Cheer loudly and positively 👏🏻

INTRODUCING OUR FIRST SPECIAL GUEST - MEG BROWN

We are incredibly excited to announce that Meg Brown MP will be taking to the court for our upcoming JETS Charity Match, supporting the SHE Gynaecological Cancer Group.

Meg has been a Jet’s supporter from the very beginning — in fact, she was one of the co-founders of Jet’s and has played a huge role in helping our club become what it is today.

From the very start, Meg, along with her wonderful staff, have always been there to support our club. Whether it’s donating raffle prizes, connecting us with club and community opportunities, helping with printing, or simply lending a hand when we need it — we just have to name it, and Meg is always there to support us!

We are incredibly grateful for Meg’s ongoing encouragement, generosity and belief in the Junior Leadership Program.

Now, we’re thrilled to welcome her onto the court as we come together for an important cause — raising awareness and support for SHE Gynaecological Cancer Group. 🏐

We can’t wait to see Meg out there on Sunday 8th November 2026 for what promises to be an amazing day filled with netball, community, fun and, most importantly, fundraising for a cause that matters.
