🏐 JETS NETBALL SKILLS CLINIC 🏐

Want to improve your netball skills, build confidence, and have a whole lot of fun these school holidays?

Join the Eastern Shore Jets coaching team for a full day of skill development, teamwork, and game play at our exciting Netball Skills Clinic!

📅 Time: 9:00am – 3:00pm
🚪 Drop-off from: 8:30am
📍 Venue: Clarence Sports Centre (subject to change)
💰 Cost: $50 per player or $45 per player for multiple family bookings

Throughout the day, players will participate in specialised coaching sessions focusing on:

🏐 Shooting
💪🏻 Strength & Conditioning
🛡️ Defence
⚡ Midcourt Play
🧠 Game Awareness & Decision Making

Our qualified and experienced coaches will provide targeted instruction, helping players refine their technique, improve their understanding of the game, and build confidence on the court.

The day will conclude with an exciting Quick Fire Games Tournament, giving players the opportunity to put their newly developed skills into action in a fun and supportive environment.

✨ Open to all players! Whether you currently play for Jets, another netball club, or are completely new to netball and looking to give it a try, everyone is welcome.

This is a fantastic opportunity to:

✅ Develop new skills and game strategies
✅ Meet new friends
✅ Build confidence on and off the court
✅ Have fun in a positive and inclusive environment

Each week, our coaches nominate one standout player from their team for Player of the Week!

Our nominees are players who have:

⭐️ Played a blinder of a game
⭐️ Attended training
⭐️ Been a great club person
⭐️ Upheld our club core values
⭐️ Been an all-round Jet

All nominated players are entered into our auto generator wheel, with one lucky winner drawn at random each week!

A shoutout to our Round 10 Junior Jets Values Players of the Week! 👏🏻

These players were recognised by their coaches for showing outstanding teamwork, encouragement, respect and club spirit both on and off the court. We’re proud to celebrate the amazing young people in our club each week! 🙌🏻

📢The STNA Board recently approved the STNA Sanctions Policy. 📢

The policy is designed to address a gap in our current processes and give clubs visibility and a fair, consistent framework - not to punish players, but to make it better for everyone involved.

The policy helps address repeated game management concerns such as warnings, suspensions or orderings off for dissent, intentional infringing, unsporting conduct or dangerous play. It gives clubs greater visibility and allows us to better support players who may need coaching or development in certain areas.

From Round 11, all formal warnings, suspensions and orderings off will be reported by our Umpires through Refbook. Clubs will be notified weekly if a player is reported, along with any demerit points recorded.

👉Demerit points may lead to a suspension once a player reaches the threshold set out in the policy. 👈

The policy takes effect from 17 June, and we encourage players and coaches, through their Club representatives, to reach out to the Netball Manager if they’d like to better understand any patterns or discuss support options for players.
