Join Little Athletics Queensland for an action-packed day of running, jumping, throwing, games and challenges at the iconic QSAC stadium.

SAF Stadium, QSAC
Prep to Grade 6 (5–11 years)

From relay races and obstacle courses to mini competitions and a thrilling finale race, kids will enjoy a day packed with fun, friendship and active play.

✨ No athletics experience required
✨ Suitable for all abilities
✨ Fruit and water provided throughout the day

If you've received an email about automatic registration renewals for the upcoming season, please feel free to ignore it for now! 😅

It seems the registration system got a little too excited and jumped the gun before we were ready. 🏃‍♂️

We’ll let everyone know through our page as soon as registrations are officially open and ready to go.

Until then, sit back, relax, and enjoy the off-season while our technology practises its false starts! 😉

Wow!!! Look at what we achieved last season! Our small athletics club had a HUGE increase in sign ups! 108%!!! Rosewood Little Athletics was number 1 in the highest growth for athletes in the 2025/26 season!

THANK YOU SO MUCH to everyone who signed up and participated in our program throughout the season. We appreciate you and your athletes joining in with our club.

We would like to thank Kyrlie, Abbey and Troy for all of their outstanding work and contributions to the small athletics club over the past few years in supporting this club with new equipment through fundraising, endless hours volunteering and putting Rosewood Little Athletics out there in the community.

Don't forget that our Annual General Meeting is coming up and we need you to get involved with our small athletics club!

📍 Little A's shed at Rosewood State High School

Our patron, Cr Jim Madden - Ipswich City Council Division 4, has kindly donated a hamper as a lucky door prize to whoever attends our Annual General Meeting.

👍 If we don't have a Centre Manager, Secretary and Treasurer, we can't form a club.
👍 If we don't have a Tiny Tots Coordinator, we can't offer Tiny Tots to our little athletes
👍 If we don't have a Canteen Coordinator, we can't open a canteen to serve drinks and snacks
👍 If we don't have a committee, we can't offer athletics to our families.

We’re excited to share a fantastic opportunity for those in the Ipswich, Rosewood and Providence Little Athletics Centres!

Little Athletics Queensland is currently seeking enthusiastic Program Leaders and Program Assistants to deliver school-based athletics programs across Ipswich and surrounding areas in 2026.

These are paid, entry-level coaching roles, perfect for students, older siblings, or anyone looking to take their first step into the sports industry. With flexible shifts in the early mornings and afternoons, it’s a great fit for active individuals who enjoy working with kids and being part of a team.

What we’re looking for:
✔ Knowledge of Little Athletics
✔ Strong communication skills (with both kids and adults)
✔ Program planning and organisational skills
✔ Energy, leadership and a team-first attitude

Thank you so much to Rising Sun Hotel for their generosity in providing the necessary space for us to hold our end of season presentation. Your kind offer allowed us to present our awards and trophies to our athletes and celebrate their achievements accomplished through the season.

Thanks for providing that space for us to hold our end of season presentation for our 2026/27 season athletes and their families and friends plus invited guests. Your support in assisting our small athletics club is really appreciated!!! Thank you for sponsoring our small athletes club and for recognising the importance of having sporting clubs in the local community.

All athletes who attended the end of season presentation were provided with a meal voucher in their bag. This meal voucher was kindly donated by Darren from RSH. Each athlete is entitled to a free meal on the children's menu but you must redeem the voucher by 30 May 2026.
