Kooroora One of Sydney's Premier Tennis Club in the Northern Suburbs In 2008 the Club celebrated its 60th birthday, having been formed in 1948.

The Club boasts 6 individually lit and fenced synthetic grass tennis courts with a modern clubhouse, pro shop and attractive garden setting. The name “Kooroora” means “happy meeting place” and was adopted by our founding members. Today’s members still consider that to be a most appropriate name.

Another wonderful afternoon of Badge tennis at Kooroora yesterday! The highlight was welcoming the new CEO of Tennis NSW, Olivia Thornton, to the club. Thank you, Olivia, for taking the time to visit—we greatly appreciated the opportunity to showcase Kooroora and meet with you.

2 big wins for Kooroora member, Samantha Ewart in the Australian Seniors Championships on the Gold Coast this week. Sam won the 55 Womens Singles and the 50 Womens doubles. And an impressive win for Wayne Pascoe winning the 70 Mens Doubles. Congrats to both or you!!

The AO One Point Slam was played at Kooroora today - and what fun it was! The winning points had it all: double faults, net cords, over-hit groundstrokes and booming serves.
Our overall winner was Vince Melllino, cheered on by a huge and enthusiastic entourage. Congratulations, Vince, and best of luck in the play-offs at Talus Street on 21 December!
Kooroora members also celebrated the end of the year with a themed Club Christmas Party, complete with a giant paella, a festive piñata smashed open by Rhonda and the lucky door prize — a year’s free membership — won by Richard Gong.
