Kinesio Aesthetic encompasses movement correction, rehabilitation training, metabolic conditioning, body recomposition, and nutritional advice. After 10 years of physical self discovery in pursuit of my own physical goals and 9 years in the fitness Industry, I have chosen to combine my passions for nutrition and movement and that is Kinesio Aesthetic! Squat Depth: PR or Partial Squat?

Setting a PR on squats feels great, but did you hit the right depth? Let's find out.

🍑 The Deep Squat: Engages glutes and hamstrings, giving you the coveted strong butt.

🏋️‍♂️ Quarter Squats: Target quads, great for bodybuilders focusing on VMO.

Common reasons for not going deep:

Mobility issues - fix them.
Lack of knowledge - keep reading.
Pride - drop it.
✅ Check your form and depth.
❌ Avoid 'butt wink' (pelvis under chest).
📏 Find your optimal depth - hips parallel or lower than knees.

Mobility improves depth, so keep squatting!

Partial squats: for nervous system stimulation, quad building, and vertical leap.
Full squats: for natural thigh and butt strengthening.

🏋️‍♂️ Example: Alter set/rep schemes or focus on techniques over a 4-week cycle.

📅 Program management: Major changes need 4-6 weeks. For instance, with a 5/3/1 plan, keep main lifts and change accessories every 4 weeks.

🔄 Balance is key: Changing every 3-4 weeks and varying set/rep schemes weekly keeps progress steady.
